A top 30 law firm were keen to explore the possibility of setting up a shared service centre – for both legal and back office support - and engaged OMC Partners to help them evaluate the viability of such a scheme.
Working with key stakeholders, OMC assessed the potential options and produced range of assessed options supported by a business case, a short-listing of potential locations, a target timeline, and a target operating model detailing organisational, people, and process aspects using our SPORTS methodology (Site, Process, Organisation, Regulatory, Technology, Service). This enabled the board to make an informed decision to proceed with the shared services centre.
