A TMT client wanted to restructure their internal team to reflect the changing needs of their business as well as exploit opportunities that the new market in alternative sourcing offered.
First of all, OMC Partners worked with the department leadership to identify, and articulate, the key risks that from a corporate perspective the department had to address. Secondly we worked with internal non-legal stakeholders to identify their core needs from the legal team. Thirdly, from these two independent perspectives, we worked with the legal team and stakeholders to prioritise, and measure how these requirements would be met. Subsequently, the team was reorganised into client facing teams supported by technical specialists e.g. IP.
