Situation

A financial institution's legal team was struggling to cope with the demands placed on it by a rapidly expanding Business.
 

Solution

Working with the GC team, OMC, were able to help the GC improve the efficiency of the internal team through process improvement, work allocation and technology.  The size and shape of the in-house team was also adjusted in order to be able to most efficiently serve the changing needs of the Business.  In addition, OMC Partners carried out an in-depth review of the business' use of law firms, the conclusions of which resulted in more effective use of external firms to support the in-house legal function.
