CMS Cameron McKenna present case study at Legal IT 2009
Tom Staunton, Infrastructure Manager at CMS Cameron McKenna and panel member of the session "Outsourcing IT for Law firms: A sourcing policy ensuring seamless integration with suppliers and in-house teams" presented his firm's experiences.
The session was moderated by Ian Prince, a partner at princeOMC, the specialist legal industry outsourcing consultancy who advised CMS Cameron McKenna in their ground breaking outsourcing engagement with HCL.
Amongst the issues that the session addressed where captive sourcing vs. 3rd Party outsourcing, whether offshore or onshore sourcing models offers the best value and how to manage suppliers successfully in the new operating model.
Tom Staunton presented CMS Cameron McKenna's overall satisfaction with the engagement, and presented a frank assessment of the difficulties that have been encountered stimulating a lively and interesting debate.
